Teaching Students Around the World
In addition to Ontario-curriculum students, I also tutor students in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Iran.
Since every country, and often every school, follows a different math curriculum, these lessons are built directly around your child's own school worksheets, textbooks, and assignments. Rather than teaching a fixed curriculum, I work with the material your child is already using in class, and focus on strengthening the fundamental math skills underneath it, so gaps don't get carried forward and turn into bigger problems in higher grades.
This approach is especially valuable for younger students: a shaky foundation in fractions, ratios, or basic algebra rarely shows up as a problem right away. It shows up two or three grades later, when the material builds on skills that were never fully solidified. My goal is to catch and fix that early.

We use your child's actual school material, so everything we cover is directly relevant to their class.
